Radio discussions
- Desmet Live wordt 747Live, AM 747, Amsterdam, the Netherlands
Guest: Dutch commentator Stine Jensen
June 30, 2006
Used with the kind permission of 747Live radio.
Click here to listen to discussion, which is in Dutch. Jensen notes of "Romance on the Road," "It is written in an accountable academic manner, with educational comments, under the rubric of sexual geography. So, people are studying this topic in the universities. When I saw Vers le Sud, I was reminded about this book. The biggest thing that I got out of the Vers du Sud movie was that women are pretty miserable sex tourists. They fall in love. They're jealous of each other. Even though they are independent (economically), they act dependent."
